Diesel Mechanic

Due to unseen growth, Robbie D. Wood, Inc., the Premier Waste Hauler in North America is seeking experienced diesel technicians for our shop in Hueytown, AL.
This person will be expected to diagnose engine issues, perform preventative maintenance, and complete light to moderate repairs. Monday through Friday with optional Saturdays. This is an hourly position and not piece work. Overtime applies after 40 hours per week.
A typical work week is M to F, 0600 to 1800, Sat 0700 to 1200.
Weekly Pay, Boot Allowance, PPE, and Clean Uniforms Provided.
Qualifications:
Practical, hands-on experience with tractor and trailer maintenance.
Training and experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components. OEM training courses and PACCAR training are a plus.
Experience with Davie diagnostic software.
Experienced using all tools of the trade along with having your own tools of the trade. Specialized Tools are provided and purchased internally.
A valid driver s license is required, CDL a plus, but not required.
The ability to solve problems.
Be a Self-Starter and Motivated.
Excellent customer service skills and communication skills.
The ability to work well as part of a team.
Willing to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
Basic computer skills.
Reliable transportation and full attendance are an essential function of the job.
