Training, and/or certification of any existing Powered Industrial
Truck (PIT) may be required
Experience:
Minimum 3 years previous experience in a distribution environment a
plus
Knowledge and expertise in distribution center processes
Computer Skills:
Advanced knowledge of warehouse management systems and equipment
Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Work Conditions, Physical and Sensory Requirements:
Ability to transport single cartons up to 70 pounds, depending on
assigned role could be continuous
Additional Information:
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, using the
English language (English competency)
Have exhibited good job performance (safety, quality and quantity)
and behavior (teamwork, attendance, initiative, etc.)
Must be able to perform the duties performed by the Associates they
lead
Associate must possess the ability to coach and provide both critical
and positive recognition
Ability to take on additional responsibilities above minimum
requirements, including involvement in Lean (ex. Lean Captain), Safety
(ex. TABS Champion), Diversity Activities, etc.
Ability to understand and apply addition, subtraction,
multiplication, and division and job knowledge literacy
Availability to be assigned to any department
Position Summary:
The Specialist, Distribution Lead - PMX is responsible to assist the
supervisor with directing/training associates in the daily operation of
the assigned department. This includes encouraging a team oriented, safe
and clean working environment.
Position Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
1. Cross train in all departments as required, learning multiple jobs
in distribution center.
2. Motivate associates to have a positive team spirit and attitude.
3. Perform work allocation at shift startup and throughout shift.
4. Monitor warehouse management systems and equipment.
5. Monitor production and resolve production problems by
identifying/locating barriers and reallocating resources.
6. Model and monitor safe work practice.
7. Drive the Lean culture within the operation.
8. Effective communicator in assigned role. Responsibilities may
include Tier 1 meetings, Customer interaction and interaction with
PowerMax leadership team.
9. Control the distribution of required equipment.
10. Communicate any potential associate relations and performance
management issues to the PowerMax leadership team.
11. Demonstrate a commitment to OfficeMax core values.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
