The Medical Receptionist will provide support with daily activities of a busy medical office. Responsible for maintain medical records, including scanning patient records into Electronic Medical Record system. Also assists office as needed by greeting and directing patients and visitors. Answering the phone and responds to inquiries, directs calls. Scheduling appointments in computerized scheduler. Works as a team member to provide optimal level of patient care.
Fluent in Spanish language required.
High school diploma or equivalent
1 year Medical Office experience with proficiency in MS Office Suite; Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
Proficient in data entry and the ability to multi-task, phone and computer.
Knowledge of medical terminology
Proficiency with Electronic Medical RecordsExcellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, staff and physicians.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
