POSITION SUMMARY
The Support Team Manager has general responsibility for coordinating and supervising all Hub activities on a daily basis. Under the direction of the Regional/District Leader, the manager is responsible for supervising team-members, accountability, routing, audits, and disciplinary actions in a manner consistent with company, quality, service, and cost objectives. Directly supervises at least two full time equivalent positions.
Supports Pace Runner's mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy. Adheres to the Pace Runner's Compliance Program, including following all government regulatory and Pace policy requirements.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
Supervises and directs the activities of the Hub route drivers ensuring compliance with Pace Runner's standard operating procedures (SOPs) as well as adhering to all pertinent regulatory specifications and requirements. This may include but is not limited to:
Supervising and coordinating the routing of hub routes, the timely accountability, professionalism, auditing, and the disciplinary action ensuring the highest possible levels of productivity.
Overseeing the handling of all hub routes ensuring the appropriate response to customers' and shippers' questions and complaints.
Monitoring the maintenance and administrative activities insuring compliance requirements are met in an efficient and appropriate manner.
Ensuring hub runs are complete in the time allotted requirements inbound and outbound and free of damage.
Auditing assigned hubs for accuracy according to customer required SOP's.
Oversees and inspects the physical conditions of drivers and equipment to insure compliance with OSHA safety regulations, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) standards.
Ensures the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment.
Ensures the maintenance of a clean, neat and orderly equipment and personnel.
Ensures all operations are conducted in a manner that promotes efficiency and safety.
Supervises personnel/teams. These responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Interviewing, selecting, hiring and training Independent Contractor personnel according to the Pace Runners selection standards.
Collaborating with Human Resources to develop and maintain a productive work team through the creation and implementation of various programs for hiring, training and professional development.
Directing the operations of the hub runs work team to achieve prescribed objectives.
Participating in establishing the personnel work schedules, reviewing relevant documentation to ensure peak delivery periods are identified and the appropriate personnel are assigned.
Ensuring that the schedules are correctly implemented and that the jobs are assigned effectively and completed properly.
Applying sound communication and motivational techniques in supervising, counseling and disciplining subordinates.
Administering the formal annual performance reviews as well as providing informal feedback to driver personnel throughout the year.
Disciplining and terminating employees/terminate contracts for IC's according to the established policies, procedures and pertinent regulatory specifications.
Conducting meetings with personnel as needed to discuss safety issues, productivity suggestions, SOP changes and other pertinent operational topics.
Records maintenance responsibilities include:
Ensuring the optimal utilization of routes through route consolidation.
Ensuring the cleanliness and organized structure of drivers and vehicles.
Ensuring timely and accurate completion of all necessary records and reports.
Processing accurate pay and routes.
Assuring the integrity of the business in conducting routine audits.
Other functions and responsibilities consist of:
Attending L-10 EOS meetings.
Interacting with Corporate Operations, Traffic, Customer Service, Human Resources, customers and employees.
Acting as liaison between employees/IC's and top management.
Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education & Experience Required : High School education or equivalent required
3 years operations / dispatch experience
Management and supervisory skills and experience required.
Working knowledge of personal computers usage and government regulations is essential.
Able to give clear and concise directions to subordinates and other warehouse personnel.
Computer Skills: Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
