Astra/CFX AL, LLC currently has an opening for a Quality Manager with automotive components experience at their Bessemer, AL location in response to growth!
We have a long term opportunity with potential to grow and expand managing quality for our other automated locations
Job Requirements
Qualifications
This is what you can offer:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience - Strong Quality Background
At least three years of experience in automotive parts manufacturing,
Supplier experience in quality with major automotive manufacturers, U.S. BIg Three or Transplants
Strong understanding of PPAP, APQP, FMEAs IMDS, PRR, KPI's and Control Plans
Confident, effective team leader unafraid of accountability and responsibility, who takes initiative, works well in a team environment, and is an excellent oral and written communicator
Effectively use Microsoft applications - Excel / Word / Project / PowerPoint as needed to fulfill key responsibilities
Must be able to communicate verbally and in written form with all levels of the organization, suppliers and our clients
Job Responsibilities

Primary Quality contact for the customer and suppliers
Work with the team to communicate all customer requirements to the plant and vendors
Manage Daily Quality and APQP activities for all assigned programs such as PPAP, FMEA, 8D's and KPI reporting
Minimal to zero travel required
